This model has a carved maple body, and although it is a different rank, the type of wood used is the same as Classico A.
This is one of the few Roma head styles among Calace mandolins.
This model is recommended for those looking for a soft, rich sound.
This instrument uses cedar for the surface, giving it a softer, more expansive tone.
▼About painting
[Shellac paint]
It is possible to apply a thin hand-painted finish, which allows the wood to vibrate without interfering with the sound, and the instrument will resonate well even when new. However, the paint is very delicate, so care must be taken to maintain it.
Depending on the model, the entire surface may be shellac or only the top may be shellac or other lacquer.
☆Differences from Clasico C
[head]
The style has been changed from Neapolitan to Roman, and the tuning pegs are also made by Schaller.
In the Roman style, the thread winding shaft is supported on both sides, so it is highly durable and will not tilt even after years of use.
The head top is decorated with the Colorache Mandolin brand logo, the letter "C", made of white mother-of-pearl, making it a luxurious piece.
[body]
The body wood has been changed from Palisander to maple, resulting in a soft yet solid sound that is characteristic of maple. The carving is the same as the Classico C.
