"Happy Boogie" is based on the NHK TV drama series "Boogie Woogie" (starring Shuri), which will be broadcast from October 2, 2023, and is based on Shizuko Kasagi, a postwar singer known as the "Queen of Boogie." It's the theme song.
It was distributed on October 4th, and the CD was released on November 15th of the same year, and the song was composed by Takayuki Hattori, who is in charge of music for the drama.
The on-air version was published in the 2023 Winter issue of "Kanaderu! Mandolin" Vol. 61, but this is the full-size version. The composition is standard 6 parts.
