The original title of the song is Les Amoureux Du Moulin, and it is commonly known in Japan as ``The Watermill Girls'' (although there is some controversy as to whether this translation is appropriate).
This arrangement was commissioned by the Nagoya Mandolin Ensemble (Circolo Mandolinistico Nagoya) in 2013, and was premiered by the arranger himself at the group's 55th commemorative regular concert on September 15 of the same year. It was done.
