"The 13 Lords of the Kamakura" is a historical drama (starring Oguri Shun) that depicts the Genpei War and the struggle for power that took place during the birth of the Kamakura shogunate, as well as the victor, Hojo Yoshitoki, who became the founder of the Hojo Tokuso family. It began airing on January 9, 2022.
The screenplay was written by Koki Mitani, and the music was composed by Evan Cole, a California native who is active in Japan.
