``Special Model'' is a special model that is not included in the regular lineup and is created based on Mr. Kawada's ideas at the time.
Its distinctive feature is that it uses rare wood "Jacaranda" (Brazilian rosewood) for its body. Nowadays, it is very difficult to make instruments with Jacaranda bodies.
Mr. Kawada uses a rare glossy lacquer coating, resulting in a sound with a gloss and center of gravity that is completely different from the lightness and naturalness of conventional instruments.
The head is an original scroll shape that shows Mr. Kawada's artistry.
It is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece in both sound and looks.
