This model is named after the current Raffaele's daughter, Anna Maria.
The sound hole position and shape are the same as those of Ripa.
The frets are made of stainless steel, which is hard and less prone to wear, just like the Classico A Special.
With the introduction of two top-of-the-line models, Classico and Anna Maria, you can now choose the tone and operability that suits your taste.
▼About painting
This model is available in the following paint finishes:
[Lacquer coating]
This is a type of paint that is often used on mandolins, and Caracé has also traditionally used it. It offers better protection than shellac paint, and as it dries over time, the sound matures.
[Shellac paint]
It is possible to apply a thin hand-painted finish, which allows the wood to vibrate without interfering with the sound, and the instrument will resonate well even when new. However, the paint is very delicate, so care must be taken to maintain it.
Depending on the model, the entire surface may be shellac or only the top may be shellac or other lacquer.
☆Differences from Clasico A Special
[Sound hole]
Unlike a normal mandolin, it is located at the top of the sound board, a style that is only used on this model and Ripa. This changes the vibrating part of the sound board and the sound output point, resulting in a sound that is not found in other models.
