Composer Johann Strauss (1804-1849) was an Austrian composer. He is called the father of the waltz. He established the prototype of the Viennese waltz and created an era with his eldest son Johann Strauss (known as the King of the Waltz) and his second son Josef Strauss.
The Radecki March was written in his later years in 1848, and this arrangement was commissioned by the Aichi Shukutoku Junior and Senior High School Guitar and Mandolin Club. It was first performed at the school's regular concert in March 2005.
