Instrumentation: 2 mandolins, mandola, mandolon cello, guitar, double bass

Composer: GF Handel Arrangement: Kunisaku Sakai

Handel (1685-1749) was a German-born composer who was active at the same time as JS Bach, and later became a naturalized British citizen, composing operas and oratorios.

This piece is the opening aria of Handel's first comic opera, Serse, which was released in 1738. Today it is often called ``Handel's Largo,'' but the original tempo was Larghetto. It becomes.

This arrangement was created as an encore piece for a concert about 20 years ago. The intention is not to recreate the atmosphere of the original song with a mandolin orchestra, but rather to arrange it in a pop style so that it can be enjoyed as an encore piece, so the speedo at the beginning is completely different.

As for playing, I think it would be easier to play by picking, except where there are instructions for tremolo.

Please enjoy!
